Dear readers, I'm back . Do you miss me ?
Let's start with the exciting stories today . 2 weeks back I had my first digital media tutorial on Photoshop . It was kind of awesome and interesting . I'm definitely a computer noob. Before attending the class, I was a little worry about myself whether i will be able to catch up with everything. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought and I find this software cool !
The first lesson was on tool selection . In that class, it teaches us how to select the tool to cut and combine photos or objects together. Can you believe that we can actually cut and combine all objects of various shapes and sizes , no matter it's big or small or round. I will be designing an eWallpaper using Photoshop. Let's see whether I did it perfectly or not :)
Btw, if you want to use Photoshop and do not know how to start, no worries. Follow me with these easy and simple steps and you will be able to start on your as well !

Step 1 : Select 5 photos 

 Firstly, I went on to select 5 photos related to MMU over the internet . After going through all the photos, I successfully selected 5 photos that I would like to use for the eWallpaper.

Step 2: Photoshop
Click on the PS icon to open the photoshop software to begin the selection of all photos. When you click on the PS icon, a dialogue box as below will appear on your screen.

When you see the dialogue box, name it as you want your file to be. For instance, I name the file under my own name, SeeWei.

Step 3: Begin the lesson
In this step, you will open all the photos that you would like to combine. Go to "File" and open all the related files. Once you have open all the files, select one as the background photos. make sure the photo is not too small. if the photo is too large, re-size the photo according to your own preference.

Once you had chosen the background photo, select the next photo that you like to combine together. Click on the "magic wand" to select the part that you would like to combine and eliminate the unwanted part. The photos below are the combination of the selected photos. It shows the process where each photo is combined one by one. After the selection, drag the selected photo to the main photo where the combination take place. Look closely at the result below for reference.

It's my very first post on this blog. Are excited and curious about what am i going to wirte here ?
Alright i shall start with an introduction post . My name is See Wei and i'm about to be 20 years old this year . During my leisure time , i like sleeping at home and eating desserts. Sleeping , eating , sleeping and eating. That's what I love ! many people claim that sleeping is not a hobby . But who cares . As long as i like it, then it's my hobby . Everyone has different likes and dislikes . Aren't this true ? Ooppss... Not to forget my biggest interest - TRAVELLLING ! I just love travelling so much . My biggest ever dream is to travel around the world seeing the different lifestyle and culture. Have you guys heard of Maldives ? Maldives is an island located across Indian Ocean. Scientiests claimed that it will sink one day . Hopefully , i will be able to visit thoi fantastic place before it sinks.
Let's talk bout the more formal side now . I'm persudaing my degree at MMU, cyberjaya in Finance with multimedia. I did my foundation in UTAR . Do not ask why i change from UTAR to MMU . I had answer this question for more than 50 times. SO just accept the fact that im a MMU-ian now. I'm in Gamma year now which means the second year of degree. In about 2 years i will graduate . I'm not so sure whether i'm excited about this but for sure no more exams life . I'm lovin' it ♥♥♥
Currently having 7 subjects for this semester . Most of it are calculation except Organization Behavior, Malaysian economy and Digital Media 1. My digital media is under section BC271B . How lucky am i to have the same class with all my girlfriends. I love them and I enjoy this creative and interesting class with time.
By the way , i created this blog for my digital media assignment. Stay tune and see what i will be learning in this subject :)
